The Joan Dancy & pALS (People with ALS) Foundation serves ALS patients and their families in central New Jersey by providing support and services to improve their quality of life on a day to day basis.
We also offer:
- Monthly Support Group and Caregiver Meetings are held via ZOOM – please contact Pat Schaeffer at 732-239-4724 or Kathy Valentino at 609-433-6333 for an online invitation
- Ongoing assistance, support and home visits by our professional staff, Patricia Schaeffer, RN and Kathy Valentino, LCSW
- Durable Medical Equipment Loan Program for wheelchairs, Hoyer Lifts, shower chairs, and commodes
- Social outlets for patients and families to encourage respite care, such as concerts and shows, as well as complimentary tickets to all fundraising events
- Services to assist with Hospice and Home Health Aide agencies
The Joan Dancy & pALS Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) charity and has an approved NJ Charity Registration.
