Saker ShopRites presented a $207,000 check to Joan Dancy & Pals (People with ALS) Foundation Friday afternoon at the Neptune store.
The proceeds stemmed from ShopRite’s annual “Strike-out ALS” campaign, which took place in October and November. President of Saker ShopRites Richard Saker said customers were asked to donate $1 or $4 at the register; the $4 donations were matched by Saker ShopRites. Joan Dancy & PALS Foundation board members were in attendance Friday to receive the check.
